This is obviously a sad day in America's History. I still can't believe it, as many of you probably don't. I don't know what's going to happen. (WWIII?). I encourage you all to pray for the victims and their families. I have several good friends who live in New York City, including 2 fan club members Adam and Jordan Martino. I hope they and their brother who works at the Stock Market which as I understand is very close to where the World Trade Center was... are okay.editor's note - it turns out that they are okay

I don't know because all communications to New York City are still shut off as of this writing.

I had planned for yesterday or today to do a newsletter about how not to write a humor column. I could not bring myself to do it, and it would be obviously innapropriate at this time.

This is the only humour I will allow myself to seep into this writing.

At 10:00 on 911 I was at the York County Office for teacher information. I saw people gathered around a television set. I heard of a "bombing" of the world trade center. Unaware of the severity of these actions and leaning on the Numerous East coast shark attacks which until that time had dominated the news I said "wow the only way this could be worse is if a shark attacked the World Trade Center."

I just don't know what to say. But I wanted to say something. Pray for the nation folks. If you don't pray often, get with someone who does. I urge you.

We're in troubled times with an uncertain future ahead. The news will be abuzz with wars and rumours of wars for a long time to come after this.

I don't know when I will put out a humourous issue of the Joshua Dudley Fan Club. Even I am on hold because of this issue. I don't feel very funny right now. I just feel sort of shaken.
